Home Team

What the Home Team does:

  • Stays informed on / connected to Lucas and Alicia, source of info on them for others
  • Meets for prayer
  • Available to help with Child Hope State-side events
  • Available to help Lucas and Alicia with State-side logistics/needs
  • Advocate for Lucas and Alicia and Child Hope at KHC and/or other churches
  • It is optional to financially contribute to God's work trough us in Haiti

Home Team Leader:

  • TBA: This person will be a KHC member that is committed to be the main contact for Lucas and Alicia.  Their responsibilities will look something like this: staying informed, passing info to the Home Team and partner church liaisons, coordinating Home Team meetings (every other month?), meeting the Simmons' needs when they are state-side, helping with local events, and delegating responsibilities among Home Team members.

Prayer Coordinator:

  • Alicia's father, Brian Bleecker has committed to be their Home Team Prayer Coordinator.  This means he will stay updated about our prayer needs, naturally, and communicate our prayer needs to those on our prayer team! He will also call prayer meetings as needed.  Thanks Dad!!

  • Amy Perez: Mobilization Coordinator
  • Mike and Christine Barker:  This awesome couple will be taking on the coordination of the KHC short term trips to Haiti.  Next trips: Nov12-20 and April1-9.  They are very involved in the south bay community and are working diligently to start a Christian High School!  Check it out: Ambassador High School
  • Katie Tiffany: This incredible new friend of ours will be taking on the role of Haiti's point person.  She will be available to answer Haiti questions and coordinate special events.  This is her thing!  She is a wedding coordinator, check it out: Tiffany Weddings

Church Liaisons:
